Interestingly, during Zee's 39th annual general meeting (AGM) on September 14, a shareholder had suggested that CEO Punit Goenka bring a show similar to the fan-favorite Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on Zee.

Goenka smiled it off knowing that the Sony Sab will soon be a part of the Zee-Sony entity.

Following the proposed merger, SPNI shareholders will hold a 52.93 percent stake in the combined entity and Zee shareholders will own a 47.07 percent stake.

Sony itself is trying to make a show like TMKOC for SAB TV but gradually failing everytime. How can they make a show like it for ZEE TV. Any show successful on today's time on SAB TV is WKD that also gaining GRP of 1.0.

• Sony Pictures Network is the most successful TV network on TV in just few hours leaving Disney Network behind
• Sony TV own the most GEC, Movie, News, Regional and HD channels.

This is clear that & TV will soon merge with Sony SAB because why Sony TV will carry a channel with such low TRP with so many entities.
Remember the days when Sony TV was trying to merge with Viacom 18. With this hopefully ZEE TV standard will increase.
