In Hindi market they concentrate zee TV to give taugh compitition to star plus with proper fiction content and Sony tv keep for niche content, reality show and comedy shows of sab tv then they plug off & tv, sab tv and big magic too and keep only two FTA channes zee anmol for repeat zee tv content and Sony pal for Sony tv repeat content.
For hondi movies Sony Max sd and hd can fully concentrate on Bollywood new and blockbuster, zee cinema sd and hd can concentrate on South dubbed and some old popular movies, & picture only concentrate on Hollywood dubbed and primiem content like sgs , and keep 1 of Max 2 or zee classic for classic movies, 1 for hindi FTA Bollywood movie and 1 for hindi FTA dubbed movie.
And other shut down licence they use for hindi music channel or bring back zee etc or Sony mix.

This channel is highly successful channel in top tier cities where ad rate is high & doing always better that its elder Sony TV.
For movie channel Sony MAX should focus on dubbed south & hollywood movies, blockbuster & hit Bollywood movies where sony wah can be turned into Bollywood channel by shutting down zee Bollywood. Now a day zee marathi is not good its 2nd time change all show to get trp but its fail .but sony marathi is good going recently started chotya bayo chi mothi goshta is good trp and also maharashtrachi hasya jatra is no 1 comedy show..

I disagree sab tv content wont work properly in sony tv , sab tv channel need to be retained its brand name is quite strong that's why sony still retain main theme of sab tv though modified it recently. it is one of the reasons why it still manages to come in top 10 or top 5 in some urban states. which is also one of the reason why people demanded sony to make regional or sony sab in other languages too as other language channels lack content which is shown in sony sab.

&tv channel could be easily shut down only1 or 2 good serials could be shifted to zee tv channel, compared to it sab tv continuously makes new shows in regular basis apart from retaining old shows .
