Dish TV owned Direct to Home (DTH) operator d2h last week introduced ‘d2h Intelligence Assistant’ for its customer to enhance their experience and offer a user-friendly interface. The launch, however, comes more than 2 years after it was launched on Dish TV.

d2h introduces 'd2h Intelligence Assistant' for customer services

Dia appears as a pop-up feature on the d2h customer website and introduces itself as “Hi! I am Dia, your d2h Intelligent Assistant.” The virtual assistant currently gives solutions to problems concerning current account information, emergency 3 days credit, unable to view channels, account recharge, and add or drop a channel, etc.

Dia or d2h Intelligence Assistant went live on the d2h customer website last Wednesday. The virtual assistant is also available on Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. Dia can be reached on Messenger from the official d2h Facebook whereas on Whatsapp one can reach her on 8750917917.

It is more or less the formal launch of d2h Whatsapp updates which d2h had teased back in February. Across the three platforms, Dia is offering the same services. One needs to enter his/her registered mobile number to access the virtual assistant.

Dish TV had in 2017 launched ‘Advanced Dish TV Interface’ for its customers which it had claimed as the world’s first AI-enabled pay-tv Chatbot. Tata Sky had later in 2018 launched its Whatsapp service and Facebook chatbot.
