Dish TV run Direct to Home (DTH) operator d2h has launched a new package for its customers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana wherein it is offering almost all Telugu channels at Rs 218.30 including taxes. The pack contains 116 channels.

The new package has been recently launched by the service provider post the reduction in Network Capacity Fee. The pack is priced at Rs 218.30 including taxes and contains all Telugu channels except Star Sports 1 Telugu. It offers 116 channels including Sun Network Telugu channels.

The package is a combination of d2h combo New Telugu Non Sun plus Sun Telugu Basic bouquet. d2h combo is priced at Rs 90.86 while Sun Telugu Basic bouquet costs Rs 35.40. NCF for the pack is Rs 92.04 which takes the total cost of the pack to Rs 218.30.

The following channels are a few of the major channels out of the 116 channels that are available in the pack.

  • Comedy – ETV Plus, Gemini Comedy
  • GEC – ETV Telugu, ETV Telangana, Maa Gold, Maa TV, DD Yadagiri, Studio One+, Vissa TV, Zee Telugu, Gemini TV
  • Lifestyle – Living Foodz, ETV Abhiruchi, ETV Life, Gemini Life

The pricing of the pack is likely to attract a lot of subscribers. d2h user Sam said, “Before this pack used to cost Rs 280 with minimum Telugu channels including Star Sports Telugu. Rs 218 is the best price for this pack.” The new package has been launched just days after d2h launched another cheap package ‘Tamizha Combo‘ at Rs 143.22 for the Tamil Nadu market. The DTH operator seems to be gearing up to challenge Sun Direct which dominates the South India DTH market due to its cheap packs.
