Direct to Home (DTH) operators Dish TV and d2h has launched a new offer for their customers under which those subscribers who recharge their d2h or Dish TV account from the Watcho app will get a Rs 50 cashback. The offer is aimed to promote the app, earlier these operators were giving Rs 10 cashback to their customers on installing Watcho app.
According to the banners added on the home page of both Dish TV and d2h websites, the Rs 50 cashback can be availed in customers Dish TV and d2h wallets by downloading the Watcho app, logging in using the Registered Telephone Number (RTN) and recharging their accounts.
The Rs 50 cashback will be credited in the customer’s Dish TV or d2h account within 48 hours after the recharge. This offer is only valid once for each other and is aimed at promoting the Watcho app.
Watcho is an OTT app from Dish TV that offers Watcho spotlight shows, live news, live TV channels, Watcho originals short films, and popular Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu movies on the go. Apart from streaming the app also has features such as Dish TV & D2H Channel Guide, Channel Number Finder, it allows its customers to manage their Dish TV or d2h account and change packs directly from the app.
In other news, Dish TV is going to donate Rs 1 in the Bharat Ke Veer fund on every successful recharge. This fund is managed by Ministry of Home Affairs which initiated it to help families of the martyrs of central paramilitary forces like Assam Rifles, Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, National Disaster Response Force, National Security Guard and Sashastra Seema Bal.
