Direct to Home (DTH) operator Dish TV has launched a new recommended combo pack ‘Hindi Basic’ with discounted Network Capacity Fee at Rs 128 excluding GST. The curated combo offers 193 channels but is seemingly a user specific package. After 18% GST, the pack price comes at Rs 151.04.
As per the listing on the Dish TV website, the pack contains 15 Devotional, 48 General Entertainment, 2 Infotainment, 7 Lifestyle & Fashion, 26 Movies, 17 Music, 61 News, 1 Sports and 16 Other channels. Most of the channels however are Free to Air channels. The update came courtesy of our community forum member VMDishHD.
Big Magic, Colors Rishtey, Sony Pal, Star Utsav, Zee Anmol, MTV Beats, Sony Max 2, Sony Wah, Star Utsav Movies, UTV Action, UTV Movies, Zee Action, Zee Anmol Cinema, Zee Bollywood, Aaj Tak, NDTV India, News18 India, Zee Hindustan, and Zee News are the pay channels available in the pack.
Dangal TV, Marathi Bana, PTC Punjabi, B4U Bhojpuri, B4U Kadak, B4U Music, B4U Movies, 9XM, 9X Jhakaas, 9X Tashan, Mastiii, Showbox and others are few of the Free to Air channels available in the pack.
While the pack can be seen without logging into the Dish TV website, after logging the pack is only visible to specific users. Few Dish TV customers were unable to see the pack after logging in. The curated combo seems to be targeted at Dish TV customers who are currently subscribed to the cheaper Dish TV combos.
