Leading DTH service provider Tata Sky has started testing Netflix subscription under its already diverse offerings of Binge OTT Combo packs. The combo packs with Netflix subscription start at Rs 379 per month and are currently available for selected users.
Netflix Basic tier subscription is included in Rs 379, Rs 429, Rs 469, Rs 509, Rs 519, Rs 549 per month packs (excluding NCF). Subscription for Netflix Standard plan is with all combo plans from Rs 649 to Rs 719 per month. While Netflix Premium plan is being offered with OTT Combo plans priced between Rs 789 and Rs 1,099. Prices vary based on linear TV channels included in the pack.
The regular price of Netflix Basic plan is Rs 199 per month and allows streaming at up to 480p quality on any device. Standard plan costs Rs 499 per month and it provides better 1080p video quality along with concurrent streaming on 2 devices. The premium plan, on the other hand, is available for Rs 649 per month and gives 4K+HDR video quality with concurrent streaming of 4 different devices.
Tata Sky Binge Combos aim to cut back on multiple separate bills for the entire family’s entertainment needs. Under a single subscription, the company provides access to all your favourite linear TV Channels along with up to 13 OTT apps which can be watched across multiple devices such as Android, iOS, desktop/laptop, etc.
Disney+Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLiv, Voot Select, Voot Kids, Sun Nxt, Curiosity Stream, ShemarooMe, Eros Now, Hungama Play, Epicon and Docubay are the OTT apps whose premium subscription is included with Binge plans. It’s worth noting that as of now only Tata Sky Binge Fire TV Stick supports Netflix and you cannot install it on Tata Sky Binge+ hybrid Android set-top box.
