MIB cancels Music F and R Vision satellite TV license

The channel was initially granted the license on 15th July 2011 in the ‘NON-NEWS’ category to operate in Hindi, English, and all Indian schedule languages.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has recently cancelled the satellite TV license of ‘Music F’ and ‘R Vision’. The Ministry today updated its database with the cancellation of both the licenses which took place in December 2020 and January 2021 bringing the number of cancelled TV licenses to 331 as of today whereas the number of permitted satellite TV channel now stands still at 910 as of today.

Royal Raj Media’s ‘Music F‘ license was cancelled last month on 28th January 2021 with the company surrendering the satellite TV license post the shutdown of the channel. The channel was initially granted the license on 15th July 2011 in the ‘NON-NEWS’ category to operate in Hindi, English, and all Indian schedule languages. The channel had the permission for uplinking and downlinking from GSAT-30.

The license was earlier known as M3M Music..Movie..Masti and Vardaan on separate instances.

R-Vision India’s ‘R Vision’ license was cancelled in 2020 end on 17th December 2020 with the Ministry cancelling the license for non-operation and non-submission of annual fees. The channel was initially granted the license on 29th December 2014 in the ‘NON-NEWS’ category to operate in all Indian languages. The channel had the permission for uplinking and downlinking from GSAT-30.
