The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) recently granted MSO registration to two entities namely Tribeni Entertainment and Binodan Digital Private Limited. The MSO registrations were granted in June 2022 as per MIB’s list of registered MSOs.
Assam-based Tribeni Entertainment is a proprietorship. The MSO registration was granted on 15th June 2022 vide registration number 45009/50/2021-DAS. The MSO registration will be valid up to 14th June 2032.
West Bengal-based Bindodan Digital Private Limited is a company. The MSO registration was granted on 28th June 2022 vide registration number 45009/8/2022-DAS. The MSO registration will be valid up to 27th June 2032.
As of 4th June 2022, there is 1753 total registered MSOs apart from 3 provisionally registered MSOs. The registered MSOs can operate anywhere in India unless indicated specifically in the registration order.
