MIB grants TV license to ‘Goldmines Bollywood’ and ‘Goldmines’
Goldmines Telefilms two existing licenses namely ‘Goldmines Hindi’ and ‘Goldmines Movies’ believed to have been renamed paving way for ‘Goldmines Bollywood’ and ‘Goldmines’.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) recently renamed two existing satellite TV channel licenses of Goldmines Telefilms Private Limited paving the way for ‘Goldmines Bollywood’ and ‘Goldmines’ into its permitted satellite TV channel repository.
The company’s ‘Goldmines Hindi’ TV license is believed to have been renamed ‘Goldmines Bollywood’. The license is part of the ‘Non-News and Current Affairs’ category with both uplinking and downlinking permission. The license is permitted to operate from GSAT-30, an Indian satellite and has the permission to broadcast in English, Hindi, and all Indian scheduled languages.
Goldmines Telefilms ‘Goldmines Movies’ TV license is believed to have been renamed ‘Goldmines’. The license is part of the ‘Non-News and Current Affairs’ category with permission to broadcast in English, Hindi, and all Indian scheduled languages. The license is also permitted to operate from GSAT-30, an Indian satellite.

The Ministry had initially in July 2021 granted Goldmines Telefilms Private Limited three fresh satellite TV channel licenses namely Goldmines, Goldmines Hindi, and Goldmines Movies. The Ministry had recently renamed ‘Goldmines’ TV license paving way for ‘Goldmines Bhojpuri‘.
