Network18 has elevated its current COO – Business News Cluster, Network18 Smriti Mehra to the new role of CEO – Business News Cluster, Network18 which will see her bolster the offerings of CNBC TV18, CNBC Bajar, and CNBC Awaaz which form the business news cluster of Network18.

Smriti Mehra
Smriti will report to Network18 CEO Avinash Kaul. Smriti has in the past led significant deal closures on campaign sponsorships and traditional FCT advertising. Smriti has in the past been credited for transforming the Focus vertical from being an on-ground, event-based business to one being drive on virtual platforms.
