Tata Sky Binge, the OTT aggregator service from DTH operator Tata Sky, now has added two new OTT platforms- Epic On and Docubay. All customers having Tata Sky Binge will now automatically get a premium subscription to these apps.
DreamDTH was the first to spot this latest development revealed by the Tata Sky Binge’s updated changelog in Google Play Store. The partnership will expand Tata Sky Binge portfolio’s to a total of 12 OTT apps subscriptions. EPIC ON & DocuBay will be available to subscribers on both – Rs. 149 and Rs. 299 packs
Epic On is a streaming service from IN10 Media that has entertaining and informative Indian TV shows, short format content, documentaries, eBooks, Podcasts, Live TV, and Audio Books, across the genres. It also has select shows in Hindi, English, and Tamil – along with video books by renowned author Devdutt Pattanaik. A premium membership for this platform that costs Rs 59 per month will be included under the Binge plan.
Docubay is a global OTT platform, part of IN10 Media Network. Its wide selection of international documentaries that are sourced from more than 100 countries spans a variety of genres like Travel, Politics, Science, Tech, Adventure, Culture, Biography and more. They also offer some titles in 4K. Tata Sky Binge subscribers will get premium membership to Docubay worth Rs 199 per month.
Commenting on the addition of new partner apps, a Tata Sky spokesperson said, “This festive season, we are adding two new platforms to Tata Sky Binge for our viewers to dive deeper into the world of content. EPIC ON and DocuBay will add more diversity to our content catalogue driving further engagement. We believe such platform additions will only make Tata Sky Binge the absolute go-to destination for the viewers.”
Tata Sky offers two plans under the Binge subscription- Premium at Rs 299 per month and Mobile at Rs 149 per month. As the name suggests, with mobile plan you can access Binge apps through smartphones only while with premium plan you can access all the apps from any device.
