Tata Sky launching “JEE Prep” and “NEET Prep” services for students to prepare for competitive exams from home

Will cater to students of 9th to 12th standard who are preparing for competitive exams of medical, engineering fields, NTSE and Olympiads.

DTH operator Tata Sky is launching two new education-based interactive service channels on its platform to help students learning from home. DreamDTH has confirmed the details of these upcoming channels and it is already available to subscribers via Tata Sky’s website and mobile app.

The channels being launched in partnership with Vedantu are named “Tata Sky JEE Prep” and “Tata Sky NEET Prep” and will soon be available on channel numbers 517 and 518 respectively. As the name suggests Tata Sky is targeting students of 9th to 12th standard who are preparing for competitive exams of medical, engineering fields, NTSE and Olympiads.

Both of these channels are priced equally at Rs 150 per month. They will give students access to extensive course videos, timely revisions and study materials. Lecture videos will be by the experts from Vedantu, subscribers will be able to binge sessions, access special revision lectures and class notes. Tata Sky also says that they will provide study materials and doubt solving sessions.

Complete catalogue of videos includes 450+ hours of Math, Science, MAT and Social Studies for classes 9th to 12th, for NEET, there is 1,100+ hours of content on Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, and for JEE, 900+ hours of videos on Math, Physics and Chemistry.

These courses will run till January 2022. Videos will be available only in Hindi language while the interactive content will be available in English, however, it’s worth noting that the Android set-top box i.e. Tata Sky Binge+ will only have videos, not interactive content.
