Hours after the enhanced offerings of Tata Sky Binge+ and its revised MRP at Rs 3999 went live on its website, Tata Sky has updated its Binge+ upgrade and Multi TV connection price which stands revised in line with the massive Rs 2000 price reduction on Tata Sky Binge+ MRP.
Tata Sky Binge+ upgrade price which was earlier set at Rs 5999 has now a got price cut of Rs 2000. The Binge+ upgrade price was earlier set at Rs 5999 with a Rs 1000 cashback offer available for Tata Sky customers. Tata Sky customers who upgrade to Tata Sky Binge+ can get the Android-powered Hybrid STB at a price of Rs 3999. The cashback offer stands discontinued with a reduction in upgrade price by Rs 2000.
The upgrade offer, however, comes with an exclusive offer as per the listings on the Tata Sky website. Tata Sky states that those upgrading to Binge+ will also get 6 months’ access to premium apps included in Tata Sky Binge namely Eros Now, Disney+ Hotstar Premium, ShemarooMe, SunNXT, and Hungama Play. 3 Months Amazon Prime subscription will also be available at no extra cost.
After 6 months Tata Sky Binge will cost Rs 249 per month while Amazon Prime subscription after 3 months will cost Rs 129 per month.
The cashback offer which was introduced in January gave Rs 1,000 cashback to existing subscribers who were upgrading to this box. Any customer who upgraded to Binge+ set-top box had to pay Rs 3,999 and within 48 hours of activating new box Rs, 1,000 was credited in customer’s Tata Sky account making it’s effective cost Rs 2,999. This offer was applicable to all sources and modes of transaction. Tata Sky had back then told us that the offer was rolled after checking the existing demand.
As for those, who wish to get Tata Sky Binge+ as a Multi TV connection, the same will cost Rs 3999. There is no discount whatsoever on the Multi TV connection. Thanks to NTO 2.0 the Multi TV connection is a bit attractive for prospective Binge+ customers as the NCF is capped at 40% of the primary connection NCF. In NTO 1.0, the Multi TV connection was offering no discount for existing users. We understand that the new exclusive offer which provides 6 months Tata Sky Binge will also be available to those getting Binge+ as a Multi TV connection.
