TravelXP 4K HDR and Agamwani 24×7 get TV license from I&B Ministry

The changes were today incorporated into the Ministry’s permitted satellite TV channel database.

Celebrities Management Private Limited (CMPL) has got the green signal from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) to launch TravelXP 4K HDR while MGK Printing Works has got the nod from the Ministry to operate Agamwani 24×7. The changes were today incorporated into the Ministry’s permitted satellite TV channel database.

CMPL got the nod for ‘TravelXP 4K HDR‘ on 4th December 2020 which has the permission to operate in multiple Indian languages namely Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithali, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santhali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu. The channel will be downlinked in India while the uplinking will be from abroad onboard Measat-3.

MGK Printing Works on the other hand has got the nod from the Ministry for the renaming of one of its existing licenses from ‘C7’ to ‘Agamvani 24×7‘. The trademark for the channel was registered on 3rd September 2020 indicating that the TV license was recently given the green light.

The Ministry also recently approved the TV license for Digiana Industries to operate ‘News World‘ that will be a News channel.
