29 MSO applications pending with MIB at the end of March 2022
MSO applications pending with MIB drops below 30 mark at the end of March 2022 as per statistics released by the Ministry.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) is currently sitting on 29 MSO applications at the end of March 2022, as per the monthly performance statistics released by the Ministry.
The Ministry as of February 2022 end was sitting on 32 MSO applications whereas by the end of March 2022 the same dropped to 29 MSO applications. The Ministry as of February 2022 end approved 213 MSO applications from 2019-20 whereas by the end of March 2022 the same jumped to 214 MSO applications.
The Ministry received 309 MSO applications at the end of February 2022 whereas by the end of March 2022 the same jumped to 312 MSO applications.

The Ministry recently cancelled the MSO registration of Dewshree Network Private Limited. The Multi-System Operator (MSO) recently surrendered its MSO registration vide letter dated 24th February 2022 to the Ministry. The Ministry in further action has cancelled the MSO registration on 22nd March 2022.
