My friends stb is brick I guess coz
He's having this problem
When he power on his stb
Only A Red light is blinking

You are right.....request manig to upload other one......before that ask him to give file name...

the other file in folder name id 43 has same name as well. i.e. hs8930ir.sdl

the only difference it dates back to august'13 and some less bytes

this is for d2h only as folder has other confidential stuff related to d2h like pdf manuals and pptx files of videocon d2h

i guess the dvr stb has same id43 as 2011 stb now also records videos on its usb port

i tried but thank god it didn't picked. This firmware belongs to fortis hd receiver not for d2h i personally checked and tested

DVR latest download id is 47, ref : HD DVR new software update.
