How many hindi movies channels Disney-Star need? Why can't they manage their current available channels.

Disney Star is managing it lot better and coming up with new channels as there is a strong need for the same. Rather Zee Hindi Movie Channels are rather mismanaged all major fronts be it pricing, content strategy, positioning and And Xplor even lacking in proper distribution across various platforms

I think they are not launching new channels as such....only renaming utv movie channels to star gold thrills n romance...I guess schedule will be same as now....but wish they will manage their huge library they have and give movies suitable timings rather thn showing thm at watershed hours...
Also hoping tht they will renew many movies frm other broadcasters...and acquire rights of new movies...

Audio feeds makes sense. I see dubbed ads not ads of local brand during live events. They are making us fools saying local channels have big reach for advertisement. Otherwise why isn't IPL or BCCI rights doesn't have auction for regional rights. Sun can go for Tamil audience. ETV can go for Telugu audience.

There is a no meaning of various regional sports channels...coz they are not playing same content on ss 1 channels...today they are telecast IND vs aus on ss1 English but not on any other regional ss 1 ch even not on hindi...

There is a no meaning of various regional sports channels...coz they are not playing same content on ss 1 channels...today they are telecast IND vs aus on ss1 English but not on any other regional ss 1 ch even not on hindi...

Why should regional sports channels simulcast all content as available on Star Sports 1? Also there was no regional commentary available for India vs Australia women's cricket match hence it was not aired on Star Sports regional channels

Star Gold 2 HD from some other channel Rebrand or New licence. Renaming or Rebranding not possible Because these UTV, Disney, Hungama Channels got licences under Disney India broadcasting company. whereas Star Gold, Star Plus, Star Sports under Star India private and Vijay, Asianet, Suvarna under Asianet Star communications. all these channels registered satellite, uplinking/downlinking their own companies.

Likely these shutting down channels removed from DTH and Cable, some new channels take more years to available on DTH/Cable or remain unavailable like Star Sports1 Marathi and Star Sports Bangla.

Yeah, they have no signs of 4K channels. We are supposed to be a super power. China has eight 4K channels. We have Aryabhatta.

First they should distribute Pravah Pictures HD on DTHs because of poor distribution of HD version they are failing to get good ratings despite having good movies
