@ jayanji: very gud share... but thats for an ideal case. These DTH ops. are compressing channels like hell.

Let them add more channels by their policy with the available resources to increase channel count. Later stage once they got more space they will improve the video & audio quality if all other players improves in that section.

dino bhai really which channel is in poor quality in airtel?
I don't know how people decide poor channel quality we they are seeing channels with pixelation issues. God Help me

Calculation wise airtel PQ is less than D2h (which is cristal clear according to dino). bcoz airtel have limit of 38 SD in one 36mhz Tp so in one 54mhz tp of d2h no of channel should be 38+38/2 = 57 . (bcoz 36+36/2=54mhz). but d2h has lmit of 48 SD in one tp . so calculation wise d2h is supirior. but i do not fell any difference in PQ of airtel and d2h .. only SD music channels in d2h is pathetic .

colors HD in d2h is supirior to airtel . ( i have not subscribed enough channels so i only observed colors HD in bad PQ)..

i think Dino is now crossing the limit bcoz if airel has some channels in pathetic version then d2h has more channels in pathetic than airtel.

but remember all the popular SD channels in all dth are good .(same in airtel and d2h)

all northeast channels,dd channels,enter10,dangal pq is very poor.
But it is even worse in other dth as i have seen.

Well, I ll only say the PQ quality of popular channels of Airtel is far better than d2h.
But, yes.... airtel also compresses their no-so-popular channels. For eg: CBS Spark quality is uglier than analogue cable, same is with NE and some other channels.

But overall, their quality is better than d2h.
