You may or may not get from dealer. Try from cust care. Meanwhile once recording activated by calling cust care, you can record by normal remote as well using menu options. Little tough to handle but u can record.

Any tutorial available to record using menu options. I tried but failed. Appreciate your help!!!

Press Guide->then Info->We will get 3 options as 1)watch 2)record and 3) series link. Select record to start recording. To see the recorded contents, choose option 1. I have no idea abt the 3rd option

Select the record option...
The show starts recording.. simple !!!!

For Example, if i need to record Mahabharat from starplus HD for 30 mins, how much space it takes??

I tried changing the channel, but it is not allowing. It is asking to cancel the recording, if we try to change the change the channel, during the recording process.

Watching another channel while recording a channel is only possible on a HD-DVR STB.
