Seeking Help How to get free recording top up for HD Recorder

Is any one using HD recorder with free recording top up. Airtel is charging money to record from HD Recorder also. Is any way to get Free recording top up. Called Customer care they are telling free recording is closed since 2017. HD recorder Customer you are giving money to record or it's free.

Very Sad to Say that NO.

Before NTO, Airtel Customers Lucky to use Free Top ups. Now No Way to use that, You have to pay for Recording.

They also used to offer recording top-up at Rs5/30d in 2021. Those who missed free recording top-up got this activated including myself. Now it's Rs.30/30d only.

@sudheep, these top-ups are for regular HD box which supports USB recording. Airtel no longer has recorder STB with inbuilt storage.

Its in 2017, Dish TV started the one then following others.

Yes. Before NTO they were giving free recording top-up, then they started to charge Rs.30/30d, then in 2021 they indroduced Rs.5/30d recording top-up and now again Rs.30/30d. New Free/ Rs5/30 top-up is discontinued now. Free/Rs.5/30d top-up is still active for existing customer who didn't remove the recording top-up.

Great if such subscribers invest in a super lnb and a good external hard drive having atleast 256Gb they can unlock a heaven of recording and buffering possibilities
