As a result of your perseverance and patience, we’ve finally concluded the Sony deal, in the way we wanted it always. As a result, all Sony channels will start appearing on TVs as well as on Tata Sky Mobile tonight onwards. The missed call requirement will also disappear tonight onwards.
Bro, then what about Unavailable Channels?? Will the DTHs add all those Pending channels or they wont offer us those channels as usual. Share your opinion.
Well if we take into account training/management of customer care, providing features like Live Chat, VOD, well designed + content rich app , having best technology, niche content driven in house channels etc then surely Tata Sky scores an edge over others but as far as providing max channels at affordable price, satisfactory customer care, matchable technical standard is concerned then Airtel is a better choice. Both have a place in Indian Market, one can earn more profit from elite base while sheer large volume of lower + middle population can give good returns even with low margin.
Nothing too special that makes Tata Sky tje best. I specially hate the fact that Hardware/STB quality of basic SD/HD model has not been given due importance thus impacting viewing experience, this is mainly bcoz people want to pay less initially without realizing that in long run they end up wasting more money in repair or replacement. Still miss those Thomson STB's of Tata Sky which were given during initial days, what an amazing build quality it had

Wait a little more brother, i am quite sure people will have access to all their favorite channels from January onwards, Dish TV is releasing bandwidth by removing south indian channels (making them available thru their d2h brand) so that this space can be used for adding all pending ROI SD/HD channels. Operators will simply pay 20% of Total DRP as distribution fee to broadcasters as per what subscribers opt for
