Agree bro.:tup we all have to support dishtv,it's a very good DTH brand.

It's not conspiracy it's the religion of Indian "cricket" which is hurting DishTV as they don't have Star sports HD1 and 2. Unless they have these two on their platform they will always be underrated DTH.

Problems with Dish TV are bad hardware, lack of DVR, sluggish software. Their technical systems are also not very good. One example is If you need your dish realigned, they will remove your STB and take it to the roof and connect it to the dish for checking signal - unlike other providers, Dish does not equip their service technicians with signal meters even.

Do you use dishtv's hardware i have no problem using it from last 4 years my STB runs 12 to 15 hrs per day still no issue all technician carries signal meters they not plays with STB in roof.

Yes bro I heard from somewhere that their Hardware quality is not that good comparing to other DTH.May be that's the reason that Dishtv alwayz stay behind than other DTH.Otherwise no one can compete Dishtv in channels.:tup

Oddly every time I have had to call a Dish TV tech for signal issue, they have come without signal meter. Less said about Dish TV STB the better. Dish TV was my first DTH and I still use it mainly for the maximum number of HD channels. But once you have used TS or even Airtel STB, you realise how inferior Dish STB is. For one, it takes ages to start up. It starts in advertisement mode and you have to wait for quite some time before you can change to a channel. EPG is sluggish. The list goes on....
