Antakshri, which is producer Gajendra Singh’s brainchild, is gearing up for a comeback, but with a modern facelift. The idea is to involve every viewer across the country with the help of digital technology.
At this point, there is no clarity on which channel will air the show. However, it is expected to go on floors in the next two months. Buzz is that the show will have younger faces as hosts, who can connect better with the youth. There are talks that actor-comedian Sunil Grover and TV actress Hina Khan , among others, have been approached to anchor it, but there has been no confirmation on the same.

Zee TV’s Antakshari will be back on the screen soon

Zee TV as a channel has been there for a really long time, where it has produced some of the most iconic shows of all time. One of the longest-running and popular shows of all time, Antakshari, will be back on the screen. According to media reports, the channel is organizing a real-life wedding of a couple as a part of Zee Rishtey Awards. And this is where the sangeet function will have the iconic musical show being presented by none other than Annu Kapoor himself. The hourly show will also see TV stars like Shikha Singh, Sehban Azim, and Vinay Jain among others coming in and participating. Annu also mentioned how his production house is pitching the show to air on the channel on a regular basis as it has a great recall value and people love watching it.
