Arasu Cable Chennai Channel List - Analog Mode

you are getting so many channels from arasu. for me it is less. but i am getting 6 channels that you posted as missing. i donk know why there is a difference when mso is same. also GTV and GTV SPV are same channels only. i am still not clear on the difference in the channels. en mandaye vedichirum pola irukku..

You back to Arasu or still with SCV? Arasu could charge 70 or Max 150 for all these channels, but it seems i have to pay 300 to SCV to get most of them (sure SCV wont give the entire list for any cost).

till this morning i am having SCV inly. have to check tonight once i am home. even if you pay 300 rupees you cannot get some valuable channels like

espn
star cricket
movies now
puthiya thalaimurai

my lco told me arasu cable but i dont know which arasu or jak ...let's wait and see...

Yes, so the main point is that the subscriber shouldn't be happy at any cost. When i had puthiya thalaimurai i used to watch news quite frequently, but now its gone. puthiya thalaimurai used to show all the news live and without built-up stories, so easily got popular.

I was happy yesterday when the channels went blank. I thought the irritating ad's would be over and i can think of something else or my LCO would find a way out. But when it came back i got pissed off.

I don't understand why they went blank for 12 hours. May be just to scare people?? or they got scared when LCO's started to switch to other MSO's??

At chromepet SCV is back from yes'day afternoon.
Irritating ad in most of the channels and only 15 to 20 tamil and DD channels available. I have to pay same cost for this less number of channels. ..
No NDTV, English News channels, Vijay, ZEE tv blank most of the time etc.

Yes, but wont allow us see those few channels too without that irritating ad. :wall :wall

My query is, if you want to go DAS... GO.... make a larger package and more affordable so people can happily go for it.... or GO blank and let the people choose someone who can give the best.... otherwise stay analogue...but don't irritate with those ads...

i uploaded the JAK cable channel list in the thread Pls any one upload JAK Cable TV Chennai Channels List in Analog Mode.

Seems it is having most of the channels that you have posted. Possibility is there that yours is JAK since you are somewhat near by Anna Nagar.

I just checked the Arasu Cable TV Website. Following the set top box requirement enrollment link (http://199.79.62.197/arasucable/stb/settopbox.php), I came to know the region setup for their service.

I noticed Alandur, which is the nearest zone for me in the list. The channel VTV is playing advt that it is available in Alandur, Adambakkam and Velachery. So, definitely it is from Arasu cable tv and I think as people mentioned, they have customization for each zone. That is why I am getting different number of channels. I am not sure if I am correct.
