Bigg Boss 6: Cartoonist Aseem Trivedi likely to be expelled

Mumbai: Colors TV has said it would expel 'controvetrsial' cartoonist Aseem Trivedi from sixth edition of India's biggest reality drama Bigg Boss soon.

Ramdas Athawale, president of the Republican Party of India (Athawale), had sought Trivedi’s expulsion as the cartoonist had “hurt the sentiments” of the Dalit community with his cartoons that had “grossly insulted” the national emblem and other constitutional symbols.

The channel had agreed to remove Trivedi from the show on coming Friday, following a meeting with the channel’s representatives, The Hindu reported.

“Following the assurance given by Colors TV [to remove Trivedi], we have decided to put off our October 29 agitation against the reality TV show,” the paper quoted Athawale as saying.

He had earlier warned the channel for giving the cartoonist ‘undue prominence'.

The 25-year-old cartoonist, whose sedition charges had recently been revoked by the Maharashtra government, had debuted on Season 6 of the TV show.

Karishma Kotak made an emergency exit from the house due to a family emergency!
One of the most cheerful and lively contestants of the show, Karishma Kotak had to make an emergency exit from Bigg Boss after spending nearly four weeks in the house. This sudden exit was very shocking for all the housemates as she had to leave due to her father's demise.

In the begining of the show, Karishma was seen discussing with her model-friend Niketan about her father's ailment saying that the price money would support her to get him treated. But, yesterday the sad news of her father's death left her devastated.

Happy go lucky Karishma used to be very concerned about her father even indside the house and was seen sharing anecdotes and childhood memories of her with her father. Rememeber she once showed how her father dances?

And now we have some fresh news from the house of Bigg Boss.. Rakhi Sawant and Shweta Tiwari were slated to be part of Bigg Boss all over again, this time as guests.

However, we now hear that Rakhi has backed out. And it will be Shweta Tiwari and Dolly Bindra, participants of Bigg Boss Season 4 joining hands to give a new flavour to this season’s big ticket show on Colors.

Avid fans of Bigg Boss would remember that Dolly Bindra and Shweta Tiwari had packed a punch in Bigg Boss 4 which Shweta had gone on to win.

The buzz is that the duo will be seen in this Saturday’s episode (3 November) and if all goes well, they will shake a leg too to entertain the contestants inside the house.

Halloween comes to Bigg Boss House!

With the Halloween season in full swing, the housemates of the Bigg Boss were not far behind in their celebrations. Having sorted out their differences after the Rajneeti task, the housemates were a one big happy family and were looking at keeping themselves busy by doing an activity.

Sapna was the most excited about the festive occasion. She dressed up as usual in all black and put on heavy make up. The the other girls, too, were not being far behind and joined in the festivities.
As entertainment, the women in the house enacted a poem written by Sapna on women empowerment. The poem spoke about the power that women realise and possess. It was a heart wrenching poem after which all the housemates hugged and complimented Sapna on her creativity.
