Hearing adjourned, arguments on behalf of the AIDCF and TRAI completed.
BROADCASTERS WILL START ARGUING TOMORROW.
1. Mukul Rohtagi for Star
2. Maninder Singh for Zee
3. Gopal Jain for sony

Matter will be listed tomorrow at 3:30 pm.
No relief of reconnection yet.
 
AIDCF fights against TRAI for Rs.12/- MRP of a channel which are in a bouquet as per 2020 NTO.

Later when the matter reached the Supreme Court, all the stakeholders, including AIDCF which has presently challenged TRAI's 2022 interconnect regulations and tariff order, were of the view that another consultation process was required.

For this, either they're going to switch to DTH or OTT...
People might have a valid point to refute against MSO's, "If DTH Opeartors are OK with this shift then why not Cable operators?"

Although now everything depends on what court opines, it would ultimately decide the fate of Cable TV in India

Cable guys has to show up at houses to collect money. DTH employees doesn't enjoy similar privilege. People will directly catch them for price hike.

In the very same way, cable guys are being caught for closure of service...Since our state is habituated with Cable TV mishaps, now the cable operators here are to be blamed...

Your state use to be a left ruled state. People are use to strikes of unions. Cable operator can directly say they are on hartal (strike) here.

On 2nd March, we have our result declaration of State Assembly election...and a quite wrong time to Strike:hehe: ....
Anyways, is there any chance for this matter to get a direction by the end of this month?
