Compatible HT System

I am using Tata Sky HD+ box with 32 inch LG LED TV and planning to purchase a decent home theatre system within 20K.

1. What are the features should I look in HTS?
2. How to connect my TV and DTH to HTS to get full audio quality?

Hi Bro,

Go for Yamaha YHT-196 5.1 which will be in 20k range.

Just an optical cable is enough for you to connect your HT and your TV or to your settop box..

How shall I connect...
DTH Box --> HDMI --> TV --> Optical --> HTS

or

DTH Box --> HDMI --> TV (For Video) & DTH Box --> Optical --> HTS (For Audio)

Ok.. but HDMI IN is not available in all system specifically readily available HTiB systems. What to do in those cases? And how shall i get the audio from my TV if I play some USB movies directly on TV?

go for option 1 => optical out to HD optical in

all HD system coming with USB support.tv also got the optical out,.

i think tatasky only provide 5.1 through optical!
