Cap on discount ?Say if a broadcaster has X number of channels and sum of their a-la carte prices is RS. 100. Then a bouquet of these X number of channels should not be less than RS. 85.
I.e., there cannot be more that 15% discount on aggregated MRP of channels in pack.
Now, if the rule is allowed by SC, then either MRP of channels will come down to keep bouquet prices low, or price of bouquet will increase.

To protect consumer fixing MRP is very common in India but cap on Discount ?
