Bro, they can won slot in gec category. Brodcasters have freedom to chose category.
Yeah your point is valid that music channel can also bid for gec category.

Brodcasters have a another option of backdoor deals. Shemaroo umang won slot as a movies channel. But, they run as a gec. And this is going on since last 1 year, It can't be that Ddfd doesn't know anything about it. It is certain that there is a deal between Ddfd and Shemaroo for this. So, brodcasters have a another option of backdoor deal with ddfd to change their channel's genre. Channels like Manoranjan grand change their genre more than 2 times in a year like sometimes Bhojpuri, gec etc.
