Update: Airtel guy called me. He says it's a broadcaster issue and they are working with them. But he refused to commit any timeline to fix the issue. He said if I want, he will send an engineer to my place and I need to pay 150 rupees to him as service charge. I refused to pay any money to engineer and asked him to register a complaint. But he isn't willing to take a complaint unless I agree to pay for the engineer visit. I asked him to pass the call to his supervisor, he said he will arrange a call back.

Update: Airtel guy called me again. He said he will post the 150 rupees to my account and asked me to pay the technician by cash. Not sure what's his problem. Anyway I agreed to this.

Update: Technician visited my home and concluded it's a broadcaster issue. He said the same thing to his supervisor. He said they will take it forward.

Can you please check if there's any difference now. I see some difference in the sound. The bass has increased for non Dolby Digital programs. Need to check for the Dolby Digital programs.anjank said:

Yep, I too noticed some change.. The volume is now coming in Center and front speakers for Subha Yogam... we will have to notice it for HD movie and then we can come to a conclusion if this is fixed or not. The next complaint from me would be HD content in Gemini

... They are not able to telecast new movie "Thupaki" in HD
Yep, I too noticed some change.. The volume is now coming in Center and front speakers for Subha Yogam... we will have to notice it for HD movie and then we can come to a conclusion if this is fixed or not. The next complaint from me would be HD content in Gemini
