My Android box giving amazing pq earlier after Android move ver 9 to 10+. Very happy. No regret to pay 153 min monthly.

The latest xtream box made by dixon technologies is worst among all xtream boxrs.. the SD channel pic quality is very bad .
Now I saw this after scrolling through posts..my friend has xstream 3, I will test with his box and see

Thanks for you input @Siva.
I tried this. Once I connect xstream box, tv automatically detects it as HDR input and switches on HDR.
My TV is acting too smart and making me feel like dumb.
I do not have old HDMI cable.
There should be a way to disable it from box settings.
The problem is not the TV, it's poor implementation of HDR on the Xstream box. The geniuses at Airtel thought that it was a good idea to set HDR to ALWAYS ON. They didn't even give an option to manually turn it off or set it to adaptive/ automatic. I am also facing this issue with the new Android 12 Xstream box. So I connected the damn thing to an older non-HDR tv and using Binge+ box on my new TV.

Atleast in xstream 3 there is an option to set HDR to either off or Auto but in xstream 4 they have completely removed HDR setting

Yeah! Typical Airtel stuff... Moreover, in some HD channels, especially Star Sports Select 1, 2 and on star 4K, the audio is delayed a bit, if dolby is on. On stereo/PCM mode, it does not happen. Same case with HD box also. On Tata play there's no such issue... I have both and use both.

Also not to forget they removed picture settings (brightness, contrast, sharpness ,hue) from xstream4
