usually, is there any lock-in period for HD topups in Airtel? or is it daily basis? I mean, can we topup for, say, 5 days and then deactivate?

yes you can,there is no compulsory,but sometimes they are offering monthly based top ups,so beware of that.before activation check that is monthly chota pack or normal.

Nothing is free in this world bro. The DTH Operator already included charges in their base pack which u subscribed to. They will never run at a loss. Just say one thing the device from which u r opening DreamDTH Community Forums, is it free ? It also has charges. Monthly internet charges, electricity cost & also u once purchased the device (computer, tab, laptop etc whatever). It includes huge cost ! When u purchased the device u perhaps took a cab or a bus to reach home......... That included travel cost. Then how come a DTH that too a premium brand like Airtel could provide Gemini TV HD for free ? Hidden charges are always there. Bro, try & understand.
