Power cuts in Bangalore? In smaller city like mine there aren't much power cuts. Unless they are putting new wire or for some maintenance work. Power is only out during rains when it's mandatory to cut power public safety.

Too many cuts as the demand is very high, around 15 million population in the city and suburbs itself. Most industries and IT Parks run on Diesel generators (almost like Diesel power stations) feeding the inverter batteries.

In here people are nowadays opting for solar panels. Even our railway station fully runs with solar power.
