I have not updated my package. Thing is that I can't add ala carte channel. Everytime I try to add all carte the screen pops up saying no results found without showing any channel name.

same problem for me, even hd bouquets not available for me only sd bouquets visible.

I think it's universal technical glitch from Airtel for time being.

just a starting days will see in future Krish .. who knows we may get free bouquet & alacarte too in future

Yesterday my plan got migrated as per TRAI rule. Welcome. The problem is, I'm unable to add NEWS J because it's not available in Alacarte channel list nor in any other list.I tried to add it via sms (ADD 791) but got response as "Your request is invalid. To upgrade package..". How to proceed further? any help will be appreciated.
