General Discussion about Airtel Digital TV- For any Help & Issues

Currently, I'm using Airtel SD set top box with Vu 43 Inch Full HD TV, connected using composite cables(Video In, Audio L & Audio R). Now, I'm getting the SD content in 480p resolution.

Say if I switch to Airtel HD Set top box & connect it using HDMI cable. will i get higher resolution on SD channels like 720p or will it be same 480p for SD & increased performance on audio?

Need help to choose.
