For creating space for addition of new hd channels , they swaping hd channels in tp bro??

Does this swapping made any space??

No swapping of HD Channels means to change equal number of HD channels from one TP to another & vice versa.

That won't increase any space.

To gain space for new addition only way is they have to shift SD Channels from TPs carrying HD Channels to TPs carrying SD Channels alone

or HD Channels itself to SD TPs I haven't seen anything like that (HD to SD Swap) happened in Airtel for past two years and logically they don't need these type of TP Change since they can directly add new HD Channels in the SD TP itself.

Airtel list of free preview channels (pay channels without a contract) has been update:

Star channels removed
Turner channels added
TV18, ETV and NDTV channels stays in list

@iphifi bro what about Sun & ZEEL they were in regular contract that means their new launches will get added soon or they need fresh contract when comes to new channels(pending for Few months)??

Then regarding Viacom & Turner they need fresh renewal in this case the new channel addition will get delayed or on fresh renewal new Channels might get added without delay faster than Sun,Star & ZEEL Channels??

Actually it may be slightly easier to add new channels of networks without existing contract as then there is a chance for Airtel to negotiate while making a contract. But overall there is no connection between these list and additions. Only indication is that there could be future threat of removal of these channels.

All customers upgrading their set top box to HD will get free FIFA sports HD channels for 2 months.


Following channels will be auto-provisioned with each box upgrade:

Sony Ten1 HDSony Ten2 HDSony Ten3 HDSony ESPN HDSony Six HD

These channels will be auto-deactivated after 60 days.

Start Date – 7th June 2018

End Date – 15th July 2018
