Not getting the signal on my TV. Have verified that there is no issue with the TV. It is a electronics HD STB purchased at start of this year.

STB issue? Time to log a service call? It is less than 1 yr. They will replace the STB for free if found faulty?

If STB is getting green light then ensure the HDMI cable is connected properly. If the problem is with STB then it will be replaced for free within warranty period. No service visit charge. Else Rs.350. If box is not faulty then visit charge will apply.

Thanks for your immediate reply.

I was suspecting the STB because my laptop was able to connect to the TV thru the existing HDMI cable. Finally now I replaced the HDMI cable with a new one & its working fine. Strange but the STB provided HDMI cable is mis-behaving today.

However, the picture quality is pretty poor with the new cable (I felt). Will investigate further tmrw evening on this PQ issue.
