Bro Im not happy with Airtel charging the full NCF of Rs. 153 specially with the new prices of individual channels which are so good. But certainly happy with the a la carte pack change. Earlier before I got to enjoy the free HD channels thanks to Dream DTH, I was in a la carte pack from 2008 to 2018 and was getting the channels at the price which were applicable for the year 2018, until I changed my pack to My Plan 99. Eg. I was getting Star Sports for Rs. 35 instead of Rs. 75 until 2018. Same with most of the other channels which were available in 2008-2009. But once I changed the pack to My Plan 99 to enjoy the free channels, I lost the old prices and it was not that easy to keep sending messages to activate channels every 15 days. Sometimes my mom would complain, channels stopped working while watching TV if I forgot to add the free topup. So there was so much hazzle and there was no way I could get the old A la carte pack of 2008 in which for Rs. 150 I could choose as many channels I could at a low cost and enjoy Tamil regional lifetime free topup as well. For me airtel has always been the best for those who are loyal to them. They could have simply said old 2008 a la carte topups were not available in 2018 but they didnt. And now Im certainly happy with this new stable a la carte pack. Just wish airtel charges NCF of 50 channels or channels that are being chosen by the customer.

Dont know bro. I think it will not work with this new pack. Yesterday the free recording topup was there when my self care portal reflected the old pack even after getting the channels that I activated as per TRAI but still recording topup wasnt working.

And yesterday I again submitted my choice of channels and it got activated almost instantly but all free topups including HD Customer Identification and Recording topups were removed and when I sent a message to add the free recording topup in my new pack, it got added and its not working. Now I lost all my recorded programs of my favorite shows "The Good Doctor" and "Shirdi Sai Baba". Hope it starts to work since its available in my new pack too. Sorry for the long explanation but I'm relived to get back to the stable and my favorite a la carte pack. Also adding and removing topups and everything working from selfcare like a charm. No more hazzles in activating or deactivating the channels.
