It is high time we start boycotting movies like Krrish 4 , Don Series , Tiger Series , Chuha 2 ,. Billi 2 , Gadha Returns etc . Movies like Kashmir Files which tell u the truth about society should be seen instead of this crap .

Don't start useless hate on Bollywood because you watched a sensitive movie. Remember this is the same industry that gave you movies to respect our army like Uri, Shershaah etc. There are countless others honouring freedom fighters, leaders, scientists etc. Don't see any complaints about sequel of KGF, Spiderman or Pushpa. Even movie on Kashmiri Pandits was made recently.

Coming from the other thread. You referred to Shikara as love story which is not true. It was about lives about ordinary Kashmiri Pandits whose life got ruined because of the atrocities they faced. It covered not only the couple. It covered other individuals who were affected. There is a scene in the movie featuring actual victims waiting for line to get ration. One of the characters living in refugee camp died hoping she would go back to her home.

Bro , keep a hand on your heart and tell me that most of the bollywood stuff is crap , yes or no ? . Bollywood haa certainly given us movies like Shershaah but that comes once in 3-4 years . Mostly we get craps like Dabangg Series , Or any other Masala commerical. I did not Watched a movie , I saw a reality told in a perfect manner and not like inserting a useless live story and the couple's struggles during the massacre . As far as Shikara is concerned , why did they not show about the cruel murders ? Showing people waiting in line for Ration was enough ? What about the rapes ? , Cutting people into 2 pieces etc. A lot of things happened in Kashmir and they covered only 20% of it and that tooo not properly that shows that Shikara was not made for justifying pain of our Kashmiri brothers and sisters , it was made only for business point of view . VVC was just selfish which got reflected in Shikara and then what happened we all know , IT SINKED AT THE BOX OFFICE . As far as KGF , Spiderman and other movies is concerned , they atleast have a unique screenplay , music making it worth a watch and has no cheap dialogues like " Hum Tumme itne ched karenge ...... " OR unbearable songs like " Munni Badnaam, Shela Ki Jawaani " etc . Bollywood mostly makes crap and unbearable movies which is now not hidden .



Don't get me biased bro but when we don't get good stuff , we tend to criticize right ? .

Hand in my heart. Bollywood doesn't make crap movies. They makes good entertaining movies suiting to everyone's different taste.

Every industry has such cheesy dialogues. I have seen regional movies. with way worse dialogue. And those songs are from roots in our region. It's not that it came out of thin air. In a way we are insulting them. On top of that if Bollywood has one Munni Badnam Hui. They got Moh Moh Dhaage.

You are discrediting every hard-working person from our movie industry for one movie which is kind of bias and not fair.

Both Bollywood and Regional industries make equally good and bad movie. But the huge disadvantage that Bollywood has is that its movies are always in the limelight. Be it good or bad. But in case of Regional industry, only the good ones get limelight nationally. While the bad and average movies are unheard of in the rest of the country, outside that region. Infact, sometimes the good ones from Bollywood gets ignored.

Bhaijaan I'm not discrediting , I'm not supporting something that consumes both our money and time , VVC and Fox both tried to promote it but due it's boring and crap screenplay , Shikara bombed . As far as all movies ( Bollywood, South , Hollywood ) is concerned, yes there are both bad and good movies in all industry but majority movies are mass entertainers . Inshort our audience are not mature enough to demand for good movies which are informative . They only want crap for enjoyment. U do watch many documentaries on Nat Geo right , If anyone on it gets released in theatre , do u think people will come to watch it ?


Yes But Moh Moh ke Dhaage type of songs comes once in an year , this is also 7 years older . Till 2016 , bollywood used to create good and original songs like that if Aashiqui 2, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil , Mast Magan etc but after that , we are more dependent on remakes of old songs whereas down South, they still make old and fresh melodious music . Now again , u might feel as if I'm biased but tell me why is bollywood deteriorating year by year in both Movies and Music ? . Movies like Hindi Medium, Angrezi Medium , Bala , etc which are made on an issue restrict to 50-100 crores whereas movies like Tubelight, Race 3 , Zero , Dabangg 3 etc which are unbearable still collect 100 crores ? In bollywood, only Star Power works , people are not much interested in Content and this is a fact nowadays .

God Bless you if u still think that I'm Biased . I'm also a Bollywood movie lover but if in movies , our past history, our culture is not shown properly then I won't tolerate it .

Yes, you are. You watch a movie and went discrediting whole of bollywood. After watching Kashmir Files one should find ways to help Kashmiri Pandits instead of going after who showed and what not. Everyone makes movie to make money. There are multiple factors. Have you questioned Vivek Agnihotri? Why did he went and made other movies like Goal? Why he waited several years to even start a project remotely connected to Kashmir? Did you question other industry like those from South, Bengali, Bhojpuri or any other industry on not making similar movies? Why didn't they create any movies on Kashmir Pandits?

It's the same cancel culture thing. Why boycott anything? People can enjoy whatever they want. Are we communist that we are supposed to watch other's approve movies?
