Wow Music is a really nice music channel, whenever i tune into this channel there r lovely songs playing from across decades. Also picture, audio quality is excellent. Sad that it isn't getting desired response.

Currently it does not air songs from T-Series as that might be a costly affair but their curated playlist from other labels is awesome. If they would have got even decent ratings then it would have pushed them to enter a tie up with T-Series too but looks like it won't happen.

How come mainstream broadcasters doesn't have same PQ?

Variety of reasons behind this. Even many FTA movie channels have better picture / audio quality than mainstream pay channels from established broadcasters

Another good thing after TRAI order is that Sony mix and too some extent even MTV Beats have stopped playing songs at 10 or 15% faster speed. They used to do this so that more time can be reserved for ads . Dwindling ratings has reduced ads hence strategy changed. Mastiii and B4U never did this even in earlier framework hence enjoyed constant success. 9X Jalwa also never did such trickery but it had constant transmission hiccups across networks hence not able to gain loyal audience.

Another thing i wonder is why Sony Mix is still showing songs in SD format, infact they r double zooming original aspect ratio of new songs thus making picture full of pixels. I hope even BBC Earth SD Feed starts showing programs in widescreen format

Yes fully agreed @dino29 bro. Exactly the Broadcast Format for all shows are in 16:9 Format and We can find it closer to HD PQ in all aspects.
Song Library for Old Classic Songs are just Excellent. The 3 Shows from WoW Music (iLove) :-
"Caravan All Time Hits" at 9 pm
"Fursat Ke Raat Din" at 10 pm
"Tum Pukar Lo" at 1 am midnight are really have to be mentioned for High Class Standards.

Even here is the same feeling. Double Zooming & Upscaled is really very irritating part of Sony Mix. After Shutdown of Sony Rox HD there are more expectations for Sony Mix and so SPN should reconstruct and convert Sony Mix in 16:9 HD Broadcast Format for better & Classy viewing.

Regarding 9X Jalwa - this FTA Music Channel is coming with 2 More New Musical Shows from 16th July and even 9X Jalwa converting their Broadcast Aspect into 16:9 Format. Now checked that the PQ of 9X Jalwa is really looking Good.

Already ZOOM has converted their total Program Broadcast into 16:9 Format so this is the High Time after TRAI New Regime to convert Main Stream Music Channels into HD 16:9 Aspect to attract more Subscribers for Subscribing their respective Channels.

But the "News" is that Star & UTV sharing various Films of their respective Libraries to each other for telecasting on their respective Movie Channels.

"Shola Aur Shabnam" previously used to Air on UTV Movies & UTV HD. Now presently sharing with Star Gold SD / HD.

"Jeene Nahin Doonga" previously used to Air on Star Gold / Movies OK. Now sharing with UTV Action.

"Ragada" sharing jointly with UTV Action & Movies OK / Star Utsav Movies.

"L7" previously on UTV Action. Now Coming as First Time Premiere on Star Utsav Movies this Friday 19th July 6.55 pm.

"Namak Halaal" currently on UTV Movies / UTV HD. Now Coming Very Soon on Star Gold SD / HD & Movies OK.

So the Distribution Merger with Star & Disney on Get , Set & Go.

Seriously do We need 4 Star + 3 UTV = 7 Mergered Movie Channels with Rotation of Same Movie Titles with So much Cost at this point @JollyLNB & @dino29 Bros ?

I think their content sharing was already started with the telecast of IPL on Hungama TV. Any way the complete movie channels must be revamped,some one should shutdown.

You have done the calculation excluding SGS and SGS HD. Otherwise it would be 6 Star channels. But who knows if SGS (currently a channel exclusively for post-2000 movies) will start showing Shola Aur Shabnam, calling it a classic movie!

I hope UTV Action and/or Movies OK.

I too hope shutdown UTV Action but retain UTV movies by integrating the Hollywood dubbed Movies from UTV action into it. Movies ok definitely going to shut down as its license name had changed.

And Prive HD now showing TV Series Sinner from noon to evening, looks like this channel too nearing end. Also i am sensing that And Xplor won't launch seeing poor reception of niche channels, also Zee Classic and Anmol Cinema might get discarded soon
