Have u guys watched movies like Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya, Cheeni Kum, Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar (MP3), Akele Hum Akele Tum, Ye Kya Ho Raha Hai, Guru (2008), Delhi-6, Iqbal, Dor, Maachis (1996), Salaam Namaste, Parinda, Ta Ra Rum Pum, Mission Kashmir, Tere Mere Sapne and so many other movies....
They r either not shown or sometimes aired in 12- 6 AM slot. Don't know if teens or those in early 20's even know of these. Channels not only need to air such movies but promote it well to get viewers interested. People tend to have short recall value hence those who loved these movies earlier, they too must have forgotten about them by now. Take some lessons from Times Network, they don't have first output deals but movies get better ratings when aired on their channels than what it gets during world tv premiere or repeats while rights r with other channels.
