So now the True Color from Star are Coming Live before the Market. Many occasions We have discussed about the unnecessary Launch of Sports Regional 24x7 Channels and all @HD Rates. And now it's Proven Right about Our Open Discussions. Launching of unnecessary Sports Channel in Regional Languages which have failed miserably to open the Market for business & Subscription and now these becoming too much burden for the Network to operate and sustain these Channels.

When Subscriber is getting SS1/SS2/SS1 Hindi HD at Rs.22.42/- then it's too much to pay the Same for SD Channel with so poor Commentary Panel and Talk Show (Here I refer for SS1 Bangla).

The same fate are also written for NGC Regional Offerings.

Too much Greed will lead the Road to dust for Star in upcoming days.......It's Sure Now............

Reposting from the Bangla movie premiere thread as it is relevant to regional cinema as a whole.

Even the copy of Super Hit South Movies also becomes flop. Fidaa (remake of Tholi Prema) was horrible.
Villian is another example. It is a remake of the movie Gentleman (which was awesome). They tried to experiment with the story in Villain, which led to it's failure.

Unfortunately Tollywood (Bangla) is heavily inspired by Tollywood (Telugu) these days. Many recent Bangla movies like Sultan and Villain are of the same kind of dubbed South movies that are shown on Hindi channels.

I hope the Marathi, Gujarati and Punjabi movie industries are not affected by this. @Rushil bro once said that Marathi movies are never masala-type movies and always have some sensible story. Sairat is the all-time best example.

After Successful Merger Completion - the Star India Movie Library being now Shared in huge Numbers by UTV Network. And Now UTV is utilising the Star Library in Full Swing.

Just an Example of Today's (30/10/2019) Schedule:-

10.50 pm - Raajneeti (Previously on SG))

UTV Movies reducing ad time can also be indication that they have stopped giving ad slots to brands as channel might be nearing rebranding stage. After new avatar comes, new ad rates and agreement will be entered into.

Kapoor and Sons is from 10:30 AM to 1 PM. Ur operator's EPG schedule seems to be not updated properly, seen that many channels make last min changes to timings or programs which takes time to reflect on operator program guide. Airtel fortunately is fast these days to instantly update such things.
