Aren't Hindi and Bhojpuri basically same language?

Yes bhojpuri is a dialect of hindi with almost same words of hindi in it so no problem to a bhojpuri man in hindi news channel

Hindi & bhojpuri are not same language. Not everyone who knows bhojpuri can speak hindi & vice versa. There is some problem in understanding also.
Answer to your query @Rockyy , we don't have any bhojpuri news channel. Only movies, music & GECs are in bhojpuri.

Still Bhojpuri has more number of movie channels I guess there are 9 bhojpuri movie channels, 3 GEC and 1 music. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Now Bhojpuri has 2 Music channels Sangeet Bhojpuri n recently launched Enterr10 Rangeela (before Enterr10 Bhojpuri Music) now as Satellite Channel.
