After 5 or 6 days of bollywood films forming major part of content on Star Gold, tomorrow more dubbed south indian films added in schedule. I somehow feel saddened when i see this bcoz their bollywood catalogue has much more entertaining films than these dubbed ones and even bollywood gives more ratings. There should b separate chs for bollywood and dubbed cinema so that we can choose accordingly as per personal preference

Just about half hour back shared above feedback with star gold on twitter, tagged @starindia too in it

Yes I love bollywood films,
So I selected Zee Bollywood,Sony Max2, pure bollywood movies channels,
Zee Classic not available in d2h,
Zee Anmol Cinema,Zee Action,Star gold2,Star utsav movies, also selected but these channels some times telecast south dubbed movies,

Waiting for pure bollywood movies channel from Star,
Star Gold Select is not impressive,
We want classic, & mid range movies,

Star Utsav Movies mostly plays bollywood films and so does Star Gold 2 on most days. Z Anmol Cinema is balanced in approach and Zee Action seems to b improving but yes has more dubbed content
Star Gold Select is a very good channel, it airs films which may have appeal within limited audience

Why create a separate movie for Bollywood?
They should create a separate channel for Dubbed South/Mixed movies instead, and start airing purely Bollywood content on the existing ones like it should in the first place. People who want to watch dubbed stuff can subscribe to that channel.

Both ways fine for audience, all we want r dedicated channels. Name can be anything, content is the key

Forgot the last time I watched movies like Fanaa and Veer Zara in HD. Honestly, I even gave up on checking the schedule.

Dont worry u can watch these movies very soon on hd movie channels as these old yrf old movies will be moving to star so many of them will air on star gold hd or star gold select hd already DDLJ airing this sunday on Star gold sd and hd

Exactly. That's what I am trying to say. Why not move those content to the secondary channels and air Bollywood on the flagship HD channels. How did Bollywood movies become a "2" for Bollywood centric channels. Forgot the last time I watched movies like Fanaa and Veer Zara in HD. Honestly, I even gave up on checking the schedule.

Earlier Star Gold Select HD and UTV HD were favorites. Finished watching every single movie they had to offer. Content wise UTV's movies are gem. Netflix renews them everytime they expire.

It's not worth paying for any movie channel at the moment with so many repeats. The worst is ads. Some time channel is in self promotion mode. I didn't saw any ads from sponsors at all. Just self promotion of own packs in obnoxious loud noise. I got so mad adjusting volume. I just left watching altogether.

Why don't Indian broadcaster explore the comedy genre? Comedy movie channel and GEC can help the already stressed population. There are so much option for adrenaline rush. Be it action movies, MMA or wrestling. Nothing for stress reliefs. Even most cartoons on tv are cringeworthy rubbish.

Sony is doing correct job,
Sony Max for South dubbed lovers
Sony Max_2 for pure Hindi movies

Finally Zee opened their eyes so they launched Zee Bollywood
Zee Cinema South dubbed
Zee Bollywood Mid range pure Hindi movies
Zee Classic pure classic movies,

What about Star ?
They don't have proper management in Hindi movies channels
They have Star Gold, Star Gold_2, Star gold Select, Star Utsav Movies 4 channels

Only needed pure Bollywood channel & pure south dubbed channel that's enough,

Sony lacks in bollywood content on Wah even if keep aside Max as dubbed content channel. Also it does not have a channel like Star Gold 2 or And Pictures. Max2 can b compared with Zee Bollywood or UTV Movies

Zee doing good job as far as channel classification is concerned but content scheduling poor across chs except Z Classic. They need to utilise film library properly and not b repetitive. Also Z Action needs to made hollywood dubbed movies channel

Star/Disney may not have kept a flagship channel exclusively for dubbed south indian films bcoz they tend to have larger focus on bollywood films and dubbed cinema just aired occasionally . UTV Movies mostly airs bollywood films and is equivalent of Z Bollywood, Max 2. Star Utsav Movies also has good bollywood content and serves purpose well on Free Dish

Both star/disney and Sony need classic movie channel and a bollywood channel for post 2000 films respectively

I don't know why these arguing members not understand situation of that network, Even that network done lot of Channels shutting down, lost Huge Revenue properties, that network Single channel also not there in No.1 Place and out of Competition, GEC Movies Sports Regional Everywhere Utter Flop, One day they will shutting down Channels one by one, Even after knowing these things still these members are saying Good, Great and variety, these things Good for Only 100 viewers, But Large Viewers mind we can't change they know what should watch On TV.

I can say Better these Arguing Members Should Contact that Network or Channels before collapsing network Business

Star Gold Select still airs all UTV films. I also do not like overdose of self promotion ads but fine with it as long as there r no banner ads during movie telecast, both sony and zee display banner ads while movie is on and it is a distraction...star/disney did this earlier a lot but now reduced considerably
Repetition is issue but thankfully things r improving on star/disney channels and hopefully zee, sony will follow suit. Compared to what we got 4 yrs back, now bollywood /Hollywood dubbed content has improved on star/disney channels

I forgot to mention earlier but Viacom18 should also have HD feed of Colors Cineplex Bollywood and a second bollywood channel featuring pre 2000 bollywood films. Once Rishtey Cineplex is available across pay tv platforms we might see Colors Cineplex tweaking strategy
