This started 2-3 years back. I slowly moved to DD India and Rajya Sabha TV from than on. Hopefully, Tata Sky will add DD India HD in the near future.

Actually it's Baahubali 1. Earlier Max used to Premiere small budget films. I got to know through comments section of Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai Songs that It was premiered on Max. Even Iqbal, Plan for which a promo is present premiered on Max

I think fan is the first yrf movie which was not premired on sony entertainment television , later set India started "kapil sharma" show 24 hours on weekends

Indeed, I was disappointed at the time that Sony Max wouldn’t show Baahubali in HD on 25 October 2015. The HD premiere on Sony TV was on 6 December 2015. Luckily, our wait for Sony Max HD ended not long thereafter.

Piku had an Independence Day Premiere on Sony TV on 15 August 2015.

This was indeed the premiere promo. Sony TV premiered it first on 11 November 2012, and Sony Max showed its channel premiere on 9 December 2012.
It feels very weird to talk about 9-year-old movie premieres!
