Pushpa broken record of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi dub Premiere TRP, even Hindi and South states movies TRP/TVR calculations not same. if Pushpa or 83 got 4.23 TVR in HSM, in South States TRP/TVR calculation it will cross 20 TVR

But here we r comparing data as per TRP ratings and for hindi movie chs so comparison with TVR is not required

Star/Disney have missed out Golden chance to Revamp their existing Channels into New One to avoid Shutdown due to Low TRP.

Star World HD >> Star Sports 3 HD
Star World Premiere HD >> Star Gold World Movies HD
Star Bharat HD >> Star Gold 2 HD

Surely these Changes may able to explore their existence in the Showbiz World more vividly.

Also Star/Disney Stalled their Other Revamp - New Channel Launch Schedule for indefinite Time Being which thus Create more Frustration among Audiences.

- Star/Disney may not take a risk within IPL Season. After IPL is over then it's will be obvious for them to Sign New RIO with DPOs.
- But for Turner/Sun/ETV it's strange that they missed the so called Deadline given by Trai.

But as NTO 2.0 is withdrawn by Trai - Now the Broadcasters will play some Mind Game with the subscribers.

The Game is not yet Over !!!

They stalled channel shutdown and rebranding bcoz same would require changes in pricing, genre placement in RIO which was not possible earlier bcoz of ongoing NTO 2.0 case. As now NTO 2.0 getting implemented hence star/disney will come up with updated RIO and shutdown/launch new chs as well as rebrand/revamp existing ones.

Disney International HD too seems to have entered hibernation mode , maybe it will b shut down in coming weeks

Looks like even Zee Cafe is going to shut down soon, seeing scaling down of content. Star World Premiere too seems to have entered hibernation period or is this some special programming (Koffee With Karan) for April which seems unlikely.
Star World also likely to b shutdown or if star/change have change of plans then it will continue. I do not know why but i am sensing New Season of Koffee With Karan is on the cards soon

BFlix likely to revamp content strategy soon as Pen Studios dubbed as well as bollywood film library might shift there, if BFlix remains DD Free Dish exclusive channel then zee might continue to get access to Pen Studios library for its pay chs or if BFlix decides to go the Goldmines way then quite possible zee will lose all of this library.

Looks like National Geographic channel will undergo some changes in next few months. As i can see from runtime of shows, there r hardly any ads on the channel. Just hope that it revamps but does not shut down. I want its old avatar back where it aired more science, investigation, documentary, travel shows. Have shared feedback with them regarding this in last few years

Viacom18 cancelled merger deal sony and zee cancelled merger deal with viacom18. Both the ways viacom18 has not much capabilities to be merged with other broadcasters zee has vast movie library and content strategy and Sony is big in sports if Sony-zee merged their will be tough competition for Disney-Star dushman ka dushman dost. Yes goldmines betrayed sony badly so Sony took tit for tat revenge with goldmines.

Viacom18 has more than enough capabilities and they can alone compete very well with star/disney or sony/zee. Surely sony and zee can leverage each other's assets and be a formidable force but somehow i feel in many genres they need to improve planning and management of channels. Hindi Movie Channels is great example where zee can be a frontrunner in bollywood films segment but sadly across its hindi movie chs content selection is not attractive. Sony should also help zee in improving packaging, presentation and audio/video quality of its channels.
