Many old shows of Sahara One and Imagine TV can be seen across current Hindi GEC channels but only few shows of 9X visible on these channels

There were 2 other channels namely Real TV and Discovery Jeet but until now they have not signed content syndication agreement with any of the current broadcasters. These 2 defunct channels had good shows but unfortunately channels did not manage to get ratings. Even Imagine TV was not able to get high ratings back in late 2000s but now its shows r proving to b superhit on Dangal and Dangal 2

I think from now their is new arrivals every Wednesday in zee bollywood. More bollywood films will be arrive soon on zee and every Saturday new premiers on &pictures.

What i would consider fresh content is movies renewed from other broadcasters and most importantly good films getting acquired which r lying unsold at presenr and there r plenty of these . Star/disney has recently acquired many such unsold films, sony/zee should build a robust 80s, 90s, 2000s bollywood film library and schedule it properly which will deliver excellent ratings

Warner and Turner doesn't like sharing rights with anyone else nowadays. No wonder Chandni Chowk to China and Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge have left TV long back.

This channels was the best English GEC till date. It didn't deserve to shut down. It was way ahead of OTTs. You could have best International shows in Hindi. Sadly, delayed digitilization by government failed them.

All the Imagine TV show rights r with Turner / Warner Media and these shows available on Dangal, Dangal 2 as well as some other channels. Warner Bros / New Line Cinema international films r available across channels.... Earlier agreement was on with Sony Pix and now all shifting to star/disney including dubbed versions. Bollywood Movies produced by Warner Bros will shortly arrive on star/disney

They failed bcoz of poor distribution strategy and even the presentation was not upto the mark. Had CBS chosen Mr. Mukesh Ambani or some other reputed broadcaster as partner then i am sure these channels would have been successful.

Imagine shows are with NDTV as well.

Imagine shows are with NDTV as well.

NDTV Imagine, Imagine Showbiz and NDTV Lumiere were started in 2007/08 and were all owned by NDTV (NDTV Lumiere was a partnership with Lumiere). In 2009 end all NDTV sold its stake in all these chs to Turner India and NDTV branding was dropped. All the Imagine TV show rights reside with Turner India, ofcourse it is quite possible that they might have sold shows to Dangal, Dangal 2 permanently but there is no confirmation on this

Nothing is permanent. Even Sony doesn't own Sooryavansham.
