Discussion General Discussions, News & Updates On Indian TV Channels

Good work. Regional feed are discriminatory and waste of money. If you can provide a feed in Tamil and Telugu. You gotta give same treatment to other languages like Assamese and Bhojpuri. Either cater to everybody or don't. Two main official languages are enough for sports content. Use the money to give us diverse offering. Not highlights.

people always prefer to watch sports in their Mother tongue. In south India Hindi is considered as regional language.

We are not against Hindi. If they are ready to telecast in Hindi then they should telecast in all other official language of India.

Out of top sports channels Star Sports 1 Hindi and Sony Ten 3. Both Hindi sports channels gets highest ratings across all genres when some major event is on. Despite existence of regional channels like Sony Ten 4, Star Sports 1 Telugu and Star Sports 1 Tamil.

Than South can watch in English as it was originally meant to. Watching cinema in mother tongue makes sense. For sports it doesn't. How do expect to watch post match interview by someone else (commentators) feeding you what atheletes says ?
