Really hope that some private broadcaster airs Republic Day Celebrations 2023 live on their channels so that we can watch it in HD.

If not, prominent DTH /Cable operators should work out an agreement/arrangement with Prasar Bharti to carry/add DD National HD as a temporary channel for this special event

Or its better if dth providers add dd national hd in 15tg August and 26th August just like they did dd sports 1.0 case dth providers open door let's see they stik to that or not so we can enjoy parade on hd

Zee Classic would shut down and most probably Zee Bollywood will become new destination for retro bollywood films. Sony Max 2 likely to b a channel for bollywood films from 90s till 2010, also HD feed might be launche. Sony Max would continue airing mostly bollywood content primarily from from 2000 till now with some dubbed south indian movies. Zee Cinema will become new destination dedicated to dubbed South Indian Movies. And Pictures may continue as a destination of films which attract younger audience.

Sony Max HD could become a pure play bollywood channel airing mix of mostly bollywood movies from all eras and few dubbed south indian as well as hollywood films.
And Pictures HD might also become a hybrid bollywood and dubbed hollywood movie channel.
And Xplor might continue to host offbeat, critically acclaimed bollywood cinema, incase it shuts down then its library likely to air on And Pictures HD and Sony Max HD

Let's see if my estimation turns out to be true

They air random blocks sometimes. Same as do on any occasion like Diwali, Halloween, Holi etc.

You r right bhai. They most probably have lined up binge marathon of popular shows as part of Christmas / New Year celebration special program block

Fox Life is airing good mix of lifestyle, travel and food related shows since last 8 or 9 months. Also another good thing is that they keep refreshing the schedule by adding new shows and daily schedule is often not same all thru the week

Want to watch Republic Day and Independence Day Celebrations in HD without any news tickers or other banners , such graphics would certainly be present on Times Now Navbharat HD or other News Channels hence viewing experience would not be that good.


Yes, Comedy Central and even Colors Infinity have such special program blocks all thru the year and it's been part of their content strategy since very long time
